You’ll see some of my recent commissions and new works on paper.
Last year, I completed a commission for the City of Baltimore, memorializing Helen Delich Bentley in stained glass. Helen was a notable journalist and politician who supported and promoted industry and manufacturing in Maryland, and throughout the world.
The panel portrays Helen during her journalism era, working for the Baltimore Sun. The images surrounding her portrait reveal her various interests, including her love of dogs, as well as Maryland’s flora and fauna symbols. A permanent location for the artwork is still to be determined.
My most recent commission was of a Japanese Maple tree which will eventually be installed in a residence on the upper east side of Manhattan, NY.
